Igor Sklyarov, Vladimir Popras and Vladimir Perminov are profeccional musicians who plays the special instruments made from glass: Glass Harp,Verrophone and Glass Panflute Bass.

Glass Music is an ancient art which had success in many noble houses of Europe, Russia and North America in XVII-XIXth centuries. In the 18-19 centuries, glass instruments sounded as part of any symphony orchestra. Crystal Trio continues to develop ancient tradition of 'sounding glass', and also explores its new dimensions. Sklyarov, Perminov and Popras play well-known classical and popular modern works, as well as tunes specifically written for glass instruments. Trio plays concerts, tours actively across all the world, and develops new repertoires.

Current repertoire includes variations of popular classical melodies of Mozart, Boccerini, Vivaldi, and also the original products written specially for a crystal harmonic (Mozart, Glinka). Mysterious, gentle sounding of crystal tools allows to apprehend known melodies in a new fashion; it opens secret, unexpected sides of classical musical pieces.

Glass Music is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. During 2009 and early 2010th Crystal Trio held a series of concert tours, playing in Russia, Europe and Japan. All of them were attracted of attention from the audience and the media, and also had considerable commercial success.

One journalist once has asked musicians: in what a secret of extraction of sounds from a glass?

"It is very important, how fingers adjoin to glass. It is skill of touches. Here also there is an answer..."
